Sunday Scribblings: My Shoes


I awoke a fit of fright
Of a dream I had last night
As a ghost I watched my wake
Somber people eating cake
Closer look and their not there
In that coffin feet are bare
I make my wish loud and clear
With a voice you now can hear
My dead feet will have some shoes
Or I'll haunt you as I chose!
