Cemetery Bones

Tombstone ACEO

Under stones
Rattling bones
Through the dirt
Soul's unearthed
Condense the dust
and don the shroud
To haunt about
this hallowed ground

Trouble

Gorianna

Here's a little watercolor ACEO I did purely out of entertainment.
If this doesn't make you laugh then consider the following:

Are there Vampire Orthodontists?
Why are Vampire women always so busty?
How do Vampires get the blood stains out of their clothes?

Pumpkin Ogre

Pumpkin Ogre ACEO

On Hallows night do remember
for all the carvings - Ogre henchmen
Least you keep the candles bright
or suffer horrid veggie fright

Legend Maker

Urban Legend maker

Under Harvest Moon
Urban legends are born
Rural minds
conjure fearful scorn
Stern leather
the face of Paw-Paw
holds mischievous fun
and frightful laughter

Among the stones and gate

Among the stones and gate

A quiet hush falls among the stones and gate
A feeling of sadness - A feeling of peace
Tense statues set to protect,
although nothing can readily be done

As this is a scared space -
The burial grounds of ancestors
Our proof of love and respect

And these monuments are for the eyes
Comfort for the still beating heart
As mourning is only for the living

If you could ignore the guilt
If you would quiet your soul
You could let yourself truly see-

And you would know that I am here
Comforting you

Spooky Hallow!!!

My first photoshop!

I am determined to get Adobe Photoshop to submit to my will!

And apparently it's working because I kept clicking on all the buttons and eventually got the above picture. I know there is a help menu but I don't want to read - I want to click. I want to click, click, double-click and have everything turn out the way I want.

I must make note that the background picture is Captain Jack's excellent photography and the top layer is one of my drawing.

Inspiration: Check out Julie Miller's Vintage Fictions.
