Beauty

I try so hard to see the beauty,
It's the contrast of darkness -
Always catching my eye,
Skewing my view.

Recognition

Tortured soul,
Despair and sacrifice.

Alone

Some people are blessed,
With large families - Lots of friends.
Then there are those,
Who by no fault of their own
are empty, lonely and alone.

BaTs

A loss of insight into myself, I don't see there is anything wrong with me.
I am angry, frustrated and happy again.
And why would I take my medications if I am not ill?

Friend

You and I - We are best friends.
The only ones we have,
And that's just the way we like it -
Everything is perfect.
Yet, I worry for the future,
For we are not cut from the same cloth.
One day we will be separated by the passing of time,
And you will no longer be there when I love you.
